The Media Reframed (Hoban et al., 2023) texbook is designed to support the learning and teaching of the VCE Media throughout the 2024-2028 study design accreditation period. This textbook is an effective too to assist teachers’ understanding of the Media 2024-2028 study design and ways in which they can deliver the VCE Media curriculum and enhance student learning. Similarly, the textbook is an effective resource for learners to use throughout their VCE Media studies. The textbook provides key knowledge and theoretical information along with supporting resources and examples to support students in their understanding of SAC and exam questions throughout unit 3 and 4. The textbook also includes activities, rubrics, media production templates and worksheets to scaffold teachers in the delivery of the curriculum and support their students’ learning.

To support students throughout their learning, the Media Knite website will be used as an effective resource and overview for both the teaching and learning of VCE Media. Knite (n.d.) provides great examples of written responses for the written tasks throughout units 3 and 4. Furthermore, Knite (n.d.) covers important technical, theoretical, knowledge and key skills to scaffold the learning of all students. This resource will be used to support students in their understanding of Unit 3 Narratives and Contexts and Unit 4 Agency and Control with key points of information being covered, and SAC exemplars to enhance students’ understanding of appropriate written responses.

Mangan Media is a media curriculum and student gallery ranging from years 9-12 with many relevant resources to support the teaching and learning of the Media curriculum in Victoria. This resource will be essential to assist in the development of senior years learning tasks with a range of curriculum content in alignment with the 2024-2028 Media Study Design. However primarily used to inform teaching and planning, this can be used as a resource to show student exemplar work and as a reference website to allow students to access curriculum relevant content and support materials for their learning.

To support students with their learning and understanding of high-quality Media production presentations, the Top Designs 2023 Media landing page provides exemplar resources in photography, audio, print and film. These can be accessed to inspire students with their ideas, along with provide an example of high-level work to influence their production throughout Media Unit 3 and 4.
